INTERNATIONAL WIND ENSEMBLE COMPOSITION COMPETITION
On the Theme of Peace
‘Coups de Vents’ organises the International Wind Ensemble Composition Competition with the support of the Departement of Pas de Calais.
This Composition Competition aims to promote the repertoire of original music for wind orchestra and highlights the work of contemporary composers. For this 6th edition, the main topic will be : Peace. The proposed compositions will necessarily be relevant to the topic. No formal or aesthetic requirements are imposed.
The competition is open to participants of all ages and from all countries.
The awarded prizes will be as follows: First prize: 8 000 Euros; Second prize: 4 000 Euros; Third prize: 2 000 Euros.
